A K-12 school in Pontiac, MI, is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide specialized support for high school students. This contract position is available immediately and continues through June 12, 2026. The role requires onsite presence and offers part-time hours totaling 15 per week. Candidates must be licensed Occupational Therapists, as COTA candidates are not eligible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized occupational therapy services to high school students to support their educational goals.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective therapy plans.
- Conduct assessments and document student progress in compliance with school and state regulations.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss student needs and adjust interventions accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license applicable in Michigan.
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred.
- Ability to work onsite in Pontiac, MI for scheduled hours.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
